This H. Upmann Connoisseur B LCDH marks the second release of the H.Upmann range exclusively for La Casa Del Habano with the first edition being the H.Upmann Connoisseur A released back in 2013, which was prized by many cigar aficionados.
Deep, rich, generous and with a strength greater than it might seem at first. One of the ten best Habanos of the size range.
This Cuban cigar has a consistent construction and a generous smoke, resulting in easy and satisfying drawing. The aromas are strong when opening the box. Flavors tend to be woody with an evolution towards pepper and dark chocolate. The blend is typical from the brand so if you are already a fan of H. Upmann, aging this one will reveal to be to your liking.
The H.Upmann Epicures is an affordable, bold and complex Short Panetela, 4.3” (110mm) long, of 35 ring gauge, and comes in a 25 cigars box. This is a rather short smoke (less than an hour), that has the very DNA of H.Upmann, clean and strong tobacco flavor.
This is the first time that the H. Upmann marca has been used for a Gran Reserva release, which is considered to be among Habanos S.A.’s top cigars produced. All of the tobacco has been aged for a minimum of five years, before rolling the cigars, and only released when there is enough tobacco to produce such a release as opposed to on a fixed schedule.
A perfect cigar for occasional smokers who look for strength rather than aggression in a small cigar. The herbaceous nature of the blend is mingled with hints of chocolate, caramel, cedar and spice. This Panetela is instant pleasure and can be enjoyed in just half an hour. A Cohiba Classic.
